By 2023, Chinas total output of aquatic products will be 71 million tons

On March 22, it was learned from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs conference that in 2023, the total output of aquatic products in the country is expected to be 71 million tons, of which the aquaculture output is expected to be 58.12 million tons, accounting for 82% of the total aquatic products, which is the main force for the stable production and supply of aquatic products.

In order to expand the aquaculture special law enforcement action, in addition to continue to strengthen the aquaculture drug records, production records and sales records and other law enforcement, to better maintain the peoples "tongue safety", this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs also expanded the aquaculture input special law enforcement action for the first time to aquaculture special law enforcement action, including the aquaculture certificate related law enforcement. Promote the implementation of supporting systems, further guarantee the production space of aquaculture products, and consolidate the foundation of guaranteed supply. At the same time, law enforcement inspections related to aquatic seeds will also be carried out to improve the quality of aquatic seeds and help revitalize the aquaculture seed industry.

Wang Xintai, deputy director of the Fisheries Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas and a first-level inspector, said that special law enforcement continues to strictly manage the use of aquaculture inputs, including whether to store and use state banned and disabled inputs, whether to establish a true and complete record of aquaculture drugs, whether to sell aquatic products that are still in the off-drug period.

At the same time, the breeding certificate system will be implemented. "Including whether the units and individuals engaged in aquaculture production in waters and beaches owned by the whole people have obtained aquaculture certificates according to law, and whether they have engaged in production activities beyond the scope specified in the aquaculture certificates."

In addition, aquatic seed production will also be regulated, including whether aquatic seed producers hold valid aquatic seed production licenses according to law, whether they produce in accordance with the scope and type of aquatic seed production licenses, and whether they sell or transport aquatic seed quarantine according to law.
